Few people know that the famous Amaro Lucano is produced exclusively right here. The first stop on your tour will be the beautiful Essenza Museum, housed within the historic Lucano production facility.
The visit will then continue through the ancient village of Pisticci, a town with Greek origins known for its charming historic center filled with “casedde” — rows of small, traditional peasant houses that exemplify spontaneous rural architecture. You’ll explore the famous “Dirupo” district and the Mother Church, whose churchyard offers a breathtaking view over a true “lunar” landscape shaped by hundreds of calanchi — the iconic clay formations of this region.
Before returning to the resort, you’ll have time for a bit of free shopping and a taste of local street food.
